Thank you to all those who participated in the Giving Challenge 2026! Your generosity raised $50,863 for the homeless animals at the Humane Society of Manatee County. Hundreds of dogs and cats will receive life-saving medical care, food, shelter, and toys as they wait for their new families.

Overall, 50,863 donors helped 724 local nonprofit organizations raise $16,760,297 in just 24 hours! The entire nonprofit community is overwhelmed with your support.

 The Giving Challenge is an exciting 24-hour online giving event that connects about 700 nonprofit organizations with passionate donors and community members to support diverse causes and create enduring impact in Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte, and DeSoto counties.

Since 2012, the Giving Challenge has acted as a catalyst for connection and provided more than $92 million in unrestricted funding to our nonprofit community over nine challenges.

Being a part of the Giving Challenge can transform nonprofit organizations through meaningful relationships and partnerships, all while strengthening their potential reach.
